Nighttime fun, in Parikia, Paros, at the heart of the Greek islands.
Nightlife in Parikia the capital of Paros, one of the most famous of the Greek islands is mainly centered around the southern half of the Paralia, or seafront. From the port to the windmill at the end of the bay are a number of bars to suit every taste during your holidays in Greece.
Some have occasional live music, others DJ’s playing a variety of mainstream pop and rock, and some are perfect to just sit and chill while taking in the beautiful sea views.
Away from the waterfront, in the warren of tiny whitewashed streets there are also a number of bars and cafes, again, with occasional live music and DJ’s.
The main area for nightclubs is the river road which runs back from the bridge at the end of the seafront. Here you can find clubs playing anything from hip-hop to house, rock to Latin, Greek, and mainstream pop. Most stay open until around dawn, but don’t really get going until around 1am, so don’t be too disappointed if everything seems a little quiet.
You’re probably just too early.
